FAQ

Why I cannot use * / # in your applications?

In the current SDK is a bug, because of security reasons???? Apple says: To prevent malicious users from redirecting phone calls or changing the behavior of a phone or account, the Phone application supports most, but not all, of the special characters in the tel scheme. Specifically, if a URL contains the * or # characters, the Phone application does not attempt to dial the corresponding phone number.

The App is started and the first call was sucessful. Then after ending the call the screen shows the original telephone App from the iPhone.

This is a problem with the iPhone OS 3.1! This is also reported as a bug. Sorry for that!

How can I see the used feature extension in my Avaya™ Communication Manager?

You have to use following command to display your configured feature name extensions on your ACM:

display off-pbx-telephone feature-name-extensions
